Has anyone ever used the
AKG 141
OR
AKG 141 MKII
I've seen many drummers and other studio players wearing these and I need to replace my broken Vic Firth phones. My only doubt is do these AKG have outside sound isolation like say the Vic Firth or the Metrophone Studiokans do?

Looking forward to reading the review Juan. If anybody has tried the AKG phones I mentioned above please let me know what you think as I have the opportunity to pick up a cheap pair!

I played my drums wide open for years but Moongel works so well I actually enjoy playing around with muffling. I just did another 8 hours of constant use from my Shure inears on the bus. I love them. Hopefully they fit YOUR ears and you like their sound.

Hey guys, I am running out of time (literally hours) to pick up this deal on these headphones:
If someone has used them, could they please comment on whether they are suitable as sound isolation headphones to play along to tracks on the drums. Will they be like Metrophones/GK Ultraphones/Vic Firth's?

I've used all kinds of AKG phones in studios but I'm not sure what model they were. I think those are just regular headphones. They'll sound great but won't block much outside "noise".
