I absolutely LOVE Smith going from Buddy's Buddies to Journey Live in Budokan!
By all accounts he KILLED the Journey gig and should have gone down in the pantheon
of "former" rock drummers...not SS, he evolved into what he truly was, a jazz-fusion
musician that from time to time can put on his "rock jacket" and go back in time.
Amazing career from an amazing musician!

At 17min of the Budokan vid during the ending of Chain Reaction there's some good focus on his hands, cool stuff. He just had his shit together.
