Yeah ive always thought that's how the likes of tony and elvin got their bass drum sound. 18 inch kick with the beater way off center.... I think of live at birdland...

Ah yes. Recording customs. I can hear my old cherrywood customs singin away (sigh....)

Been meaning to pick up another set of these. Was in Sam Ash on Desoto and Roscoe a few years ago. They had a power tom set with 8, 10, 12,....14 & 16 suspended toms w/and 18' power kick. Just like the kit I used to have. But in white. I'm kinda kickin myself for not pciking that kit up.

Nice kit Paul. Need to post you playing a tune with those bad boys.
