I'll explain myself....

I'm really interested in the local drum heros from all over the world. If they can bring their ethnical music to the drums, then I'm hooked. So I took time to listen to the videos But I noticed like Julian some over the top comments (IMHO) coming from members with just a few posts....

Just like Julian "Sorry if I´m all wrong; maybe the internet screwed me up already... :/"

Loved the sound of his drums.

That can most definitely also be the case .....

To answer your original question:

I watched some vids on YT; he makes his drums sound great, he has control, and I heared some interesting ideas but my expectations were a bit higher with respect to creativity, after reading the topic "not your average drumsolo"...

What is "it" in your opinion that separates him or his solo's from the average? What is it that you want to learn from him?

The only thing is could possibly mean is that person doesn't contribute much...and don't worry, we're not communists. :-) Also, ethnical is not a word...that little red squiggly line underneath it means that... :|

Don't trust the squiggly line... Although English is not my native language, but ethnical is a word :|

u know the great thing about being in HOD for over 10 years...
all of this shite doesn't add up to jack squat.

...the squiggly line. wait...there is a sqiggly under shite...what did
i really mean? cue the homer audio: BORRRING

one post or 1000...in very short time, people will always come and go.
if the cat had no merit, this thread would have maybe two posts
on it and be forgotten in cyberspace.

now...back to drumming...better yet, let me distract this thread for about 5:00
then you can get back to it...well, if you last more than 30 secs that might be
enough to clear your minds;

Love his sound, and his touch on the kit, much be playing table-inspired grooves, in a molecularized concept fashion, alright.

Forgive me if I have a desire to master the English language...without language we're all monkeys ...or jackass' whatever you prefer. I'll concede that I've never heard or seen anyone use the word ethnical...and it seems to be a word that some people want to be a million dollar word...but ends up being a fraction of a penny, IMO. :-)

It's all good bro...too tempting for me to not jump into this lateral thread
conversation and bring it back with some humor in poor taste.

Jeff is always poor taste imo, but the cat is unique!

Now, back to the boom boom...speaking of boom boom, I met this gal in
a local store...oh, if I was 25 again...she LOVES drums and everything
drumming. We tapped out some beats together at the counter...
