It almost sounds out of round.

My God. We've seen some amazing drumming and some amazing chops over the years, from the great all-around guys to the gospel guys, but this video shows that no one comes close to Vinnie in terms of sheer insanity, originality, complexity, hipness, complexity, etc. He really plays on another planet.

And when he wants, he's got the sensitivity, simplicity, and groove to boot.

Man, I´m speechless...
There´s no doubt that Vinnie is in league of his own... Dave(s), Jojo, Gergo, Virgil or anyone else can´t touch him (just my humble opinion)...

Thanks for posting...

This just confirms everything we've though about Vinnie. Chops for years with incredible groove with such musicality. What more can you say?

wow, awesome. Aside from the chops fest, which I'd love to spend an afternoon transcribing, what's equally as interesting is how the kit sounds acoustically. And I thought I was a freak for tuning my floor toms really low. guess not. This sort of shines a new light on how dry sounding Vinnie's kit is. It's all about fast decay and crisp attack. Fascinating.

Just taking a quick sneaky look (I'm at work) -holy moley -can't wait to hear this in it's full glory tonight!
One thing struck me though - in the opening few seconds - how far back is the stick in his right hand???

My suspects were confirmed:

The video has been removed from Facebook too.

If someone wants to see it, I have the private youtube link.
