Remember that if you've got music on your hardrive, a Spotify search shows you the music which is currently on your hardrive as well. So if you forgot you had a certain boot and spotify finds it when your doing a search, you could easily mistake it for being on Spotify.
deseipel - Lots of Uri Caine to be had and if bedrock is dance/electronic music, there's some tracks on there as well.
For anyone who wants to use the Dr. Fusion blogspot link to download the "Live at My Place" bootleg, you have to left click the link in the comment (or right click and open in new tab) then go to the bottom and click "free download". Keep in mind because you don't have a "RapidShare Pro" account, you can only download one part at a time and maybe limited to a certain download limit per day so if it won't let you download anymore, try again the day after. Right clicking and "save file as" on the links in the comments will not work as I did that the first time I tried.
OMFG - Spotify in USA!

Finally I could download it...Everything OK with the dimeadozen link.
You're welcome, Juan
Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I have.
If you're not a drummer there's an overwhelming risk you'll think Vinnie is overplaying here.
Me? I love it...

Why not just use the free app Homepipe. Streams music from your harddrive. Streams pretty good over the 3G network. Airvideo streams movies. Zumocast was a great app that did both but it's not available anymore. Plus you have dropbox. You can load up to 2 gigs of music.
Re: OMFG - Spotify in USA!
I'm currently a subscriber to Slacker Plus (3.99/month). After researching Spotify vs Slacker - I'm going to stick with Slacker - while it doesn't have nearly the amount of songs as Spotify and has lower quality of streaming vs Spotify, Slacker seems to work better for me as a whole. The playlists are created by Slacker vs on Spotify you have to manually select the songs, therefore it makes it harder to discover new artists. Of course, you can do this on your own by picking songs/artists you don't know - but would you really do that and why when Slacker does it for you? Slacker provides the element of surprise and the ability to hear undiscovered artists. Slacker Premium offers on demand music (I haven't tried this yet as I'm not a Premium subscriber), much like Spotify's Premium service. I can cache artist stations to my phone for 3.99 a month on Slacker vs Spotify only allowing offline play for 9.99 - and this is playlists you've created. I also have a Droid X and I'm not sure if it's available for this phone yet. I like jazz, fusion and commercially popular music, but I haven't really missed what's not available on slacker - 9 times out of 10 I probably already have it on my iPod if I can't find it on Slacker. Slacker always seems to be overshadowed, whether it's Pandora or Spotify - yet, I feel Slacker is way better than both. I like more of a radio experience, whereas Spotify acts more like an iPod - which I already have.

Some of us have the torrent link. The dimeadozen account is not needed. All you need is a torrent program like bittorrent for example. I can share the link (little file) by a private message.
The tunes are on my iphone now. I need a good chair/bed for a secure listening. Vinnie is dangerous.
EDIT: I´ve just noticed that I have this recording for many years from some trade I did. What I don´t know is if this is same day as the recording day I have.
About Vinnie overplaying: If not were for that Vinnie "overplaying" on these settings, It would be necessary 30 Vinnie´s lifes to show all the creativity he has.
Neither him nor us are going to live that long, so welcome to that creative madness.

Re: OMFG - Spotify in USA!
Well, actually you don't have the Beatles..
Although Lennon's catalog, and some of McCartney's is available.....
I've had Spotify for a week or so, and I'm impressed so far ( just using the free version..) some major acts aren't there -Beatles, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, ACDC, etc.
but otherwise, it has the best catalog I've seen by far for streaming services.....I threw a bunch of obscure titles at it, and 8 times out of 10, the artist was represented in some way..
They have some or all of Weckl's CDS, Bill Champlin, Karizma, Holdsworth, Mike Stern,Wayne Krantz, Tony Willliams, Herbie Hancock, Cobham, Breckers, lots of ECM titles, etc....
The only surprise I found so far was no Average White Band- very strange...
It's pretty much like having a Tower Record store on your computer...
