Another track received "Sternoids."
This is going to be a VERY GOOD RECORD !!

I love it.
And Dave´s playing is dffkdfdknerneruebtbdkl...no words.
(And I say this under the standards that we use when we talk about Dave. No words.)

Did I say something about the sound ?

I'm enjoying the three tracks so far. This could turn out to be his best recording for quite some time.

Really like most of the new tracks from Dave (Twelvin and Sternoids are my favorites); however, I just could not get into the double drummer one. It's probably just me but... I don't know. The two drummers thing isn't always as neat-o as the idea of it sounds. Butch and Jaimoe sound great with the Allmans, Tyler Greenwell and J.J. Johnson really kill it with the Tedeschi Trucks Band; but there's a concept to a two-drummer situation that I (so far, to my tastes) don't hear going on at all when it's the "AND HERE'S TWO MONSTER GUYS!!" thing.

I'm not insulting Dave or his ideas, just sharing what I thought...

To each his own, for sure .. but did you get a chance to check out the video of it yet? I feel like the ideas come across better in this particular setting when you see them.

I didn't really dig the two drummer track. I do like that they used real horns and had a nice video budget ( 5 cameras in that shoot). Usually Dave's stuff sounds great production wise but this time I found the drums to sound compressed and small sounding. 2 drummers should have a BIG sound in my opinion. Oh well.
I'm looking forward to checking out the other released tracks!

I didn´t like the two drummers much (sound and arrangement).
I´m looking forward to see the complete package (video, making of, full album...)
