Hey cats...just want to give my .02
I use Regal tip groovers a lot and love them for up front weight and length. Rebound is definitely helped by those factors for me.
Peace

Does anyone here play Ludwig's sticks? If so, how do they compare?

Yeah I didn't understand their endorsement levels. They actually charge more per pair than a minimum 6 pair order of hickory...

nah, it's cheaper, the prices listed on the endorsement page include having your own logo on the stick. not for the bare bones version, which i'm sure would also be cheaper by the same percentage.
i think they are assuming people want their logo's on the stick or whatever, which to me just seems silly since 1. your hand is covering it while playing 2. its far too small for anyone to see otherwise even if it were visible. and 3. who cares? haha
i go through enough sticks i want them as cheap as possible. I love VF but they are killing me with their prices. I remember being able to get a brick of 2B's for $55 from guitar center. it's $100 now....

Re: Stick Choice and Rebound
Wow! my sticks arrived from customdrumstix.com and I am completely happy with them! I've found my new primary stick and it's taken my technique to a whole new level. If you've ever considered designing your own drumstick, I highly recommend you do it for the simple reason that everybody's hands are different and stick choice should be a personal thing....

Anout 4 weeks. But Nick sent me an email apologizing and thanking me for the order. It's a long wait but it was worth it...
