Probably old news, but hard to believe this is the Virg we know today!
Love this band...especially the first two cuts. I would imagine
it would muster all the discipline he has to lay in pocket like this now.

Well at that point Virgil was the go-to guy for many gigs in Australia:

Shame Tina never hit it in the USA. If Celine Dion was not around, I'm sure they would have had an easier time marketing her. Oh well. I believe JR did drums on the Burn album, which is killer.

These guys were TIGHT. Virgil is really pushing the envelope towards the end of this recording.
I remember there being an actual live video of (I think) this very performance on YT. The chorus riff even inspired me shortly after to write a nice 9-minute long song.
I just got this in my Sub recommendations because I follow both, Evan and Virgil. I like Evan's sound and style because he sort of reminds me of game soundtracks back in the 90/00's and his technique is flawless. Virgil? Don't even get me started!

That fill around 2:46/2:47 is ridiculous. Hahaha. I loop it and go "WHAT!" 10 times over.

Sort of like that fill in Clonus in triplet 16ths that resolves on a bass drum single stroke roll. It's somewhere in 2/3rds of the song. The man is just plain insane. It's just a shame that for some reason he doesn't get any gigs which are not obscure.
