Just got back to the hotel from the hang. Steve took pics so he should put some of those up. Some notes:

- Scott Lorenzini is a coolest guy with the coolest family and the coolest drum room ever. Best host, too. My hat is off. What a great place to hang. Although if we do this again this time of year, I'm bringing my metal Costco firepit.

- There are some absolutely great guys who can really, really play on this board. Loved talking to them. Steve and Derek were fantabulous, of course. It was a joy meeting Issac, Enrique, Chris Brady, Danny (finally!), Matt Hughen and ... my mind's gone blank I can't remember who else was there. But it was a blast. All of you, so glad to meet you.

- Issac, so glad you stuck around and had the grit to stay in LA. You've got the right attitude and I know you're gonna make it.

- Matt Hughen has some Tony stuff going on that he needs to post some of that stuff on YouTube. He does this double bass thing that ... meh, he just needs to post some of it.

- Enrique has some stories that probably can't be told here, but they are GREAT stories. What a great guy. Love him. Excellent player, too.

- Steve and Derek need to do a weekly podcast. They don't even have to talk about drums. They could talk about anything. I almost lust a lung from coughing they were making me laugh so hard. Derek's too modest so it'll probably never happen, dammit.

- Steve's a major player, but so is Derek. Y'all need to come out to the hang to hear him play. He does some RIDICULOUS stuff. It's stick. It will make you want to quit playing.

Guys, it was absolutely worth it and I'm so on for the next one.

Another great HOD in the bag. Fantastic playing as usual. And this year we actually did a impromptu drum circle!!! My hands are stillin pain from the cajon!
