Another sad begging for a copy, if someone would be so kind...Thank you much.

I feel like the guy at the stoplight holding the cardboard sign... " Drum Addict: Will work for Vinnie Footage."

Hey guys, really interesting post. But like some others, I missed the audio. Could someone send me a link to it?

Thanks.

What a shock, a HUGE one, a real fucking revolution, man, I was not born yet that Vinnie was already my God.

We're in 2011 and we know now a lot a great cats with HUGE technics and power, but when you listen that thunder from 87, jeez, the guy is from another planet, another time, his own planet, his own way, I just love him.

I know it's hard for someone so young to imagine, but there was no internet back then, no smart phones, no YouTube, no iTunes. The only way you know about players was to read Modern Drummer and scour the jazz aisles of Tower Records looking for drummer credits listed on the back of a CD. Hearing this must've sent people into a coma from the shock, because even for Vinnie it's freakin' scary. Imagine everything you've come to know the last 20 years and then imagine not being aware of it all, or even aware someone had thought to play this stuff. It's a crap-your-pants moment.

it must have been legendary to see this. I remember when I first heard Vinnie. I think I was 20 and its one of those times when you think, "what the fuck have I been doing or listening to? Why didn't anyone tell me about this? " Back then, drummer news felt like it was underground. Wasn't practicing easier without this damn, distracting Internet?

We used to catch him around town in the mid 80s. It's funny, because while everyone else would go on about the chops, it always struck me how much conviction he played with and, once warmed up, how hard he hit.

Maybe now guys will know that when these vids/audio clips pop up you grab 'em before listening to them.

Wow. I'd be pissed after such harassment, but then, maybe that's just me.
