Dave looks good! One thing I appreciate about DW is his consistency in life.
This is the same guy I met in '85 in college setting up a Chick gig o n campus
in the early electric years. A cable was missing for Chick's gear so the manager and I
got in car and drove to Chick's rehearsal space...never heard of Dave at the time
and this guy raved about Dave...saying, "Just wait until you see Chick's drummer..."
No drama...incredible work ethic, humble, dedication to craft...in 2019 he is
the same cat I met in college.

That Weingart gig killed! Dave's phrasing was super musical...
Huge WOW on that tune!!! Great band...really wish this music
caught on with a new sector of 20-somethings...that would be
one the the greatest movements...jazz takes over...skinny ties
and goatees..."Cool cat" & "Daddio" become school teachers'
annoyances...

bought this album decades ago. i would troll into record stores and go into the fusion jazz sections and see who's playing drums. no internet back then. Peter E plays on most of the record and it's super tasty playing
