Tony Williams, Dennis Chambers, Simon Phillips.

If I had a van, I might have two, but I don't like to twist around too much, so I just use one. :(

I get the inspiration side of it but why use 3 heavy things which sound very similar to each other?

I'd like to build a similar 18" to go with my Gretsch kit...

Really love his articulate way of playing and phrasing. Busy but not over the top... Cool tune

Seriously, an 18 has the capability of sounding massive. A 16 just won't get there, and won't get to that pitch. I love playing one. You can hit the shit out of it too, if you like.

And watching that last Gergo vid, he has a master feel for odd times, he plays inside them, almost like Vinnie. Impressive.

But the last video is in 17. 16 and 18 don't fit...

Good point Jim. He needs a 23, floor, with X Plys, more tone.

Ughhh. What is with video production that says it is ok to make the user dizzy to watch it?
