Any plans on releasing it for Android phones at all? I'm rocking a Samsung Galaxy S2, but would love to get this app.
Cheers.

Hey Cheggs,

Right now we're only in development on iOS, but if this thing takes off in any real way I'd definitely start looking into porting to Android.

There are toolkits that allow you to do simultaneous development, but since this thing relies heavily on low-level audio programming most of the complicated (i.e. non-user interface) bits would have to be re-written anyway. And that's most of the project.

But we know there are millions of you guys out there!

@Sturla, thanks for the kind words. We're hopefully submitting today, hopefully releasing within a week assuming we pass Apple's obtuse approval process.

So do you work for HTC, or is it Google?

(kidding)

Jokes aside, this is a spare time project: only one developer (me) and one designer (Joe). We've started looking into an Android port, but we're just getting going.

If you actually DO work for one of the above companies (or Samsung, etc.) and feel like donating an Android device to the cause, we'd be much obliged. :)

If you enjoy PolyNome, we'd be grateful for a review on the store -- we want to get this on the radar of as many drummers as possible.
