Hey what's up guys. Kind of new to the site, but I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. Personally have not seen this one before, and I don't believe it's been posted in the thread:

I dig so much this Vinnie solo in Zildjian Day Boston 83 that I did some EQ and Image quick edition (10 minutes in Sony Vegas), just for fun.

Here is the Before and After result (killer groove):

And the 4 minutes excerpt video:

Not Vinnie, but some wanker on his kit. Gretsch in the studio, eh?

I can't believe how much of a wanker he actually is...even adjusts his snare stand. Complete douchnozzle, IMO...

Man, if anyone needed proof that it's the player that makes the difference, not the gear...

Not saying he's a bad drummer but it just sounds totally different.

That's kinda strange. Where's Vinnie? If he was out getting a coffee or something and didn't know that someone was bashing his kit, that would be a bummer.

That snare and ride sound incredible.

I wonder if Vinnie was playing on that ungrateful band's (Next of Kin) recording. I guarantee you that Vinnie would be majorly pissed about it.
