Does anyone know why he left Gretsch to begin with?

Also, what went wrong with Ludwig? He wasn't with them for very long at all.

And, what about Heuer?

He was playing Yamaha again for a while there too, but not officially endorsing them I guess.

3:40-4:04. The good old hi hat foot stompin syncopation shit he pulls off. This album is full of pure drumming brilliance.

At 3:00-3:22 life changes for all drummers. Welcome to the Vinnie jungle.

Temporary insanity

From what I understand Chris Heuer is more a repair and maitenance guy. Hardly a company that can support a touring artist.

In any case it doesn't get much better than what he has now, for my taste.

"A bit too weather-channel for me."--now that was funny! I watch this channel
a lot...those Realtor channels come in a close second.

Did we already talk about the white Gretsch kit? It seems to have obviously Vinnie's Signature on the badges, so I think, that this kit is the white kit, which he played before the Ludwig era. The changed the black hardware, put the chrome hardware on it and voilà: VC plays a new kit.
