Vinnie drops some tasty shit on that album, LA fusion, with Patitucci on bass, Marienthale on sax, Luis Conte on percussion.

I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

I was watching this flick the other day.

This has to be Vinnie, the one crash sounds like a 15" K and is used like he would.

Yes, it is!
I had this on cassette, back in the day and I listened to it all the time.
I remember seeing it in the cinema and at first I though it was Omar.
3:50 onwards is THE SHIT!

As I saw Steve's last video where he talked about cowbell, I went back and listened that old intro that I always loved, the late great Carlos Vega played the studio's take, here my boy doing his thing.

PS : great stuff Steve on your last streaming !!!

I have GRP Super Live on CD here somewhere, such a great album might need to dig it out.

That album was on heavy rotation back in the days, just the CD 1, I was so in love with Vinnie that I was even not giving any chances to Dave... :-)
I was thinking that the CD 1 was for mature people, the 2 for the kids... :-)

Then the bible arrived, "Secrets", then the Buddy Rich Memorial...
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...
