Thanks.

This is something I have wondered for a long time now relating to "covers" or popular
songs most of us know or can nail quickly. The reading skills related to more complex
music is always impressive...sometimes more than the playing itself for me.

I guess the Kimo session was a bit more serious than this...

PocketPlayer,
You are very welcome. No real "effort" at all, just the truth. I am just trying to kill some time between students, and trying to bring something to the table (for the young 'uns,) while in the midst of a computer changeover, switching files, etc... I'm basically in "hi-tech" hell!

And it wasn't a "stupid question," you know there are no stupid questions, just stupid people who don't ask questions because they think they know all the answers!

I've watched that Porcaro clip a bunch through the years. The cats just havin' fun blowin' between takes with your closest friends, nothing better! There many types of "serious," and that's one of them!

Does anyone know any videos of Vinnie at the Baked Potato (2003 era) with the red kit? I believe he was playing with Landau. I have an audio recording of some of it and have always wanted to see some video. That was some Amazing playing!
