All time favorite Vinnie vid. It's all there. Kitchen sink and an all access path to the beyond. This gig was just really something mankind needed.

Spanish guitarrist and composer Chema Vilchez has an new album with Vinnie.
He went to record the drums to Miami, with Rafa Sardina in the mixer console.
Incredible drum sound and interesting music.

Kurtis...not sure the date of that video (assuming you meant the above vid)
but VC does a fill very similar fill on a Tom Scott's Desire LP. Not sure the exact
tune, but my drum teacher at the time got a woody playing it over and over for
me (lift record needle, repeat).

I know that fill! It's on the tune "Stride" at around 4:15 or so... it's probably the best thing on that record.
