And now with bass for some context.

No drums no life, know drums know life...

OMGosh Glimpse of Light KILLED!
So Lari posted her entire LP on Youtube???
Is this the way it is done now?

VC's drum sound alone was gorgeous...in the mix
the punch got lost..i get it, but dang that sounded
great alone!

Vinnie's got his own podcast! Whoa...he has entered the 21st
century...good for him. His voice sounds like Ladd from KLOS a bit...

I'm not gonna talk guitar playing as I'll just sound bitter and angry.

I think that's the standard. It used to be doing shows to sell albums, but making albums to sell shows(or other products like lesson, your own gear etc.. today) has ben reality for a while.

If I recorded with name players like this, provided it was ok with them, I'd milk it for for what it was worth.

It also gives these players social media presence and makes them look approachable, which is important today. They might be "gods" to us, but to my young students they can't hold a candle to Justin Bieber or their favorite cover playing youtube guy or gal.

I guess this is the way it had to happen. I think Vinnie prefers to be in charge himself. Not holding my breath for typical drum lessons, but he's always seemed to be into talking about things in a conceptual way and a more general perspective anyway. This could be pretty cool.
