Guitarist Kamil Rustam's debut is being released this coming Friday.
Colaiuta handles the drumming on Sand Dunes, Surfin Dolphins, Gnawa Blues, Canopy, The Calm, Tumbleweed and a cover of Squeeze's Tempted. Manu Katche is on Morning Dew and Ocean Breeze. Peter Erskine is on New Amsterdam and Twilight Drifters.
Next week the new JING CHI album Supremo will be released. Saxophonist Jeff Babko and Trumpeter Mike Haynes are the horn section. From the clips made available, it sounds quite retro in style and feel.... Soul, Blues and Jazz.

Cosmopolitain is now available for download. Regarding Colaiuta's contributions, I especially dig the contrast between the off-kilter patterns on Gnawa Blues, followed by his tight pocket on Canopy. There is the essence of Colaiuta in two successive tracks.
