I was just wondering, is that girl anyone big? Just wondering who'd whip out a whole sum for her to afford Vinnie, Michael Landau, and the rest of the band for her debut album?

She might just have paid for it herself. That's what I'd done if things turned out bit differently. I fully expected to drop about 6 months salary on it. On time mid life crisis deal.

Considering her age there might be some family money in there or she just simply saved her pennies. It sounds like it was done fairly quickly. The mix on that album isn't much to write home about.

I'm pretty sure even Vinnie drops the price if he likes a project and knows someone's financial situation, if he has the time.

It doesn't hurt a debut to have those names on there even though having some lesser known people working for a longer time on it might have yielded a more artistically interesting product.

A Polish artist Krzysztof Herdzin has done an album with Vinnie on drums. Not much at the moment, just a short sneak peek:

A double looper I put together a few weeks ago around Vinnie's rehearsal with Marotta. I added music with permission from the bass player. I'm amazed how well the bass fits for the most part. Changes loop halfway through.

This is NUTS (new Waldman "Superheros" album). i kinda feel like a new "level" for VC. the mixing / production is just so clean & crisp...i can hear EVERYTHING. his genius is just screaming at me. this is gonna be my jam well into 2019.
Atlanta drummer. If it grooves, I dig it !
