I was very, very impressed with Ludwig's new Atlas hardware. Especially the hi-hat stand. Ludwig is the brand to watch this year.

acting like he is going to play, crowd all sizzled up only to walk away?

Tobias, my humblest apologies. Was planning to attend but had to attend to family matters back in L.A. Didn't get done before it closed today. Gonna try n drop by to see Israel Houghton tomorrow morning.

Yeah, I can't get into it. It's like someone reciting 1 e & a or paradiddle or mama daddy over and over again. Great for internalizing things in the practice room but not great to listen to in a piece of music.

I don't dig the Indian stuff either, but there is some great playing in that video.

Seems like they're struggling to find the groove in the beginning, as well... The album version of that song definitely grooves, regardless of what you think about the konokol........
