Morganthaler, 24 Nights was my first real introduction to Ferrone. I of course had "heard" him on other recordings, but this was the first time I knew who I was listening to.

I also caught him on his first tour with Petty for the Wildflowers record. Holy crap. Some of the earlier stuff got real deep and funky. No disrespect to Lynch of course:)

(It's Morgenthaler, not Morganthaler ;) ) Yes, 24 Nights is a great album.
I've really spent time listening to that. He's a true great groover in my book.
