Hey HOD Family!!!

I just wanted to give back to this forum and the drumming community. There are a lot of mysteries to Chris "Daddy" Dave and I wanted to share some of my transcriptions with you guys. I have searched the web for some transcriptions and I have not found any. So I took the liberty to tackle this challenge. The performance is from an underground performance and is 30+ mins. However, I only transcribed the things that I thought I would benefit from. However, there are a lot of great ideas in the recording. I just saw Chris with Pino and D'Angelo here in London.

You're so lucky...I purchased a ticket for the show in Hamburg which D'Angelo cancelled.
Instead he added a third show in Amsterdam (on the day he was supposed to play in Hamburg).

Man that has to be killer! I live very close to NYC and can usually catch him with Robert Glasper and the Chris Dave Trio, but to see/hear him play with Pino has to be killer!! Pino is definitely one of my favorite bass players and Chris Dave's feel is definitely Impeccable!! I am not crazy about his solo approach, but his groove and feel are superb.

Bummer man!! I know the feeling! However at least he's out there doing a tour out in Europe. I just wish he was doing one here in the States! Would love to see D'Angelo live.

By the way, I'm looking to do some more transcriptions. Anyone have any suggestions of what they would like to have transcribed? Or can anyone lead me to some nice recordings? Thanks. Take care and God Bless.
