Any cymbal from any manufacturer can crack if struck hard enough at an angle not conducive to cymbal playing. Thinner cymbals will generally break before heavier ones. To suggest that Paiste's cymbals break more than other manufacturers, with no data to back such a statement, is not only unfair, but wrong.

Paiste wouldn't have lasted this long if their cymbals were notorious for breaking easily.

As for my own data, I've broken many Zildjians and even more Sabians, but have never broken a Paiste. Does that mean that Paiste's cymbals break less?

just don't drop your cymbal bag on the edge...you'll find your very expensive Paiste ride cymbal bent...been there done that...2x to 2 different rides

Just my opinion, but aren't 602's thin already? What's the point of a thinner version? I was hoping to hear of Paiste introducing a medium thin version of the 602 with all that same buttery, beautiful, sound and feel. Course, I can't really afford 'em anyway! Am I venting?!
