To all your conspiracy theorists out there: maybe he just wanted to change it up a bit. The guy's been playing drums for 40+ years, and perhaps you get to a point when you want to switch things up, to hell with endorsements and the business side. I know that when I get stale, I go on a frenzy to look for new sounds; however, the only difference is that instead of me looking for some new cymbals or sets, he is on a larger scale and is looking for new brands. After all, he does have access to the whole line and prototypes, and perhaps his ears got tired of the same old sounds and he just made the jump. That is the simplest explanation.

You can also see the Paiste logo on the first crash quite clearly. And he is using a Ludwig snare...

Damn, a new feature has appeared in all my software: the "Copy and Paiste" function.

One of my inside contacts report that Vinnie is now a "Paiste Artist".

The Swiss craftsmen deserve this.
