Ok, I have no idea what´s going on business wise here; but since he´s not in his best moment you would image Tama and Sabian would back him up... Now his playing Dixon and Turkish? WTF?

I'm pretty sure he was a Zildjian guy after Sabian. Who knows what's going on. Hopefully he's doing well.

He was already with Dixon and Turkish before he was sadly enough diagnosed with (two?) brain tumors. Before he moved to Turkish he was indeed with Zildjian. And Turkish cymbals are a treat, but can they give the support a gigging drummer needs??? And he moved from Tama to Yamaha in 2015. Shortly after that he switched to Dixon. Dixon is not a bad choice because they sound so much better than DW :-). And even Greg B. plays Dixon :-). Switching endorsements had much more to do IMO by the fact that he hasn't been in the spotlights after his gig with Prince ended and probably he wasn't on the big company's A-list anymore. Hannah Ford-Welton played with Prince until Prince died.

I hope he gets better.....

Dixon hasn't been a brand we know around here except as a very cheap hardware option.

I don't know their history, but at least today, they obviously make some good stuff
