What I love about Cobham is how RAW his feel is, even when he's playing super-technical stuff. An innovator and a drummer's drummer, IMO.

I saw him last thursday at New Morning in Paris, GREAT sold out show, he kicked my ass in very hight level, huge respect for Sir William Cobham, a true legend, please go see him if you have the chance, and give him some love and respect, he really deserves it.

I'll never forget the first time I heard Billy's playing. Birds of Fire will still kick my ass everytime I listen to that record...
