Something about Steve...easily the drum legend of our time along with Vinnie...
his resume for 40 plus years ridiculous, yet seems like the most normal cat ever...
almost like you need to nudge him, "You DO know you're Steve Gadd right?"
I find this the most impressive part of Gadd...even more than his drumming!
Who wouldn't want to know what it feels like to walk the floor of NAMM
for just 15 mins knowing every drummer, retailer, musicians of all kind stop
and say, "That's Steve Gadd..."

What are the rubber tips he's using? Vic Firth practice tips?

I mean...come on now...just more toppings on his massive cake!

FYI - realized nobody had mentioned here that the Steve Gadd Band is playing a live- streaming benefit for the Baked Potato club at 7:00 pm Pacific - 9:00 pm Central time tonite ... I checked out a streaming show there on Weds - the quality of both the video ( 4 cameras, I think) and audio was excellent ... If anyone sees this in time and is interested , just go to the BP website ...

That song, HEAVY rotation today, just for the song, for the pure class of JT and his all star band, pure music.

I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

I think regular ticket prices for an international live stream is pushing it, so not for me, but if anyone's interested...
