Peeling an eggplant for that is complete, total and utter sacrilege, but the rest is very much approved.

love how he took control of HIS sound! Amen...

14 pages in and we left this out but it is TIME!~

...been on a Gadd binge...this is one of my fav's
shares the drum chair w Chris Parker and Rick Marotta

Also a lot of the Gadd Gang...Richard Tee is the bomb...
Steve never pulls out too far...there are some grooves his bass
drum playing "one note" perfectly placed is as satisfying as
Virgil blasting 200bpm

I did a deep dive on Rick Marotta using discogs, he was playing some great drums back then.

New user here. As they say on those radio call-in shows: "Long -time listener...first-time caller".

Anyway...the book that Steve Gadd has been working on for the past year is going to be released soon. Here he is talking about it. If I'm correctly interpreting what he's saying, it seems it's going to similar in construction to Buster Bailey's "Wrist Twisters"...except rudimental in scope. Between those two books, one's technique should be "happening"!!

When in doubt...roll.
