That was killer. I know it's more his hands than the instrument, but he makes those DW's sound really good (which, for me I typically never associate DW drums with sounding good). I also really enjoy his cymbal selection as of late. More rides, more unique sounds, and less crashes.

He looks really comfortable with the ride where his first right hand crash cymbal usually is.

He said this was an idea in 7, still in development. Live it was totally mind blowing. The hihat in 7 in particular caught me by surprise. The man never ceases to evolve.
