I don't know if y'alls heard of this band but boy they are funky and fun to listen to... they're a local band out here in the ATX but are originally from North Texas State (now UNT).. they play around the southeast alot it seems. I can't wait to check 'em out live one of these days.

Just caught them last week here in Nashville. AMAZINGLY good band. Almost like Tower of Power meets The Neville Brothers and Professor Longhair for lunch at The Funk Brothers' house.....: )

Really greasy, funky, soulful but still tight as a gnat's ass.

And the guitar player/front guy is one of the most soulful singers I've heard in a long time. He is incredibly talented.

I definitely second the recommendation to see them if you get the chance. They are seriously badass.
