Hey Paul
Let me attempt to make your day.
If you have been digging the "Tribute To Miles" CD, there is a DVD of that band and that tour!!!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008QO ... d_i=507846

I haven't seen it yet, (so I can't speak for this exact document.) But I did see that band live. Not as good as it would have been in '67, but that's an impossible "bar to clear" (even if four of the 5 guys are the same.) Diff'rent time, different place, different age, diff'rent mindset... (Thankfully) some things will NEVER be replicated, nor should they be.

Pretty wonderful none the less.

I really enjoy this melancholic new (surprise) track from Bowie. Not the video, but the track.
Beautiful.

Thanks, but I actually picked up the DVD at the same time. It's very good, although not HD by any means.

if your a vinnie fan and don't have this record you need to get this. some might put it in the vein of spyro gyra. it sounds like them but the writing is much more interesting and vinnie plays some great stuff. i mean it's 1990 vinnie! he has a few solos on the album. i also have a boot leg of them playing this album live. that stuff is just killing! wishful thinking was a cool band back in the early 90's. david garibaldi played on most of their albums. vinnie did this one live album and some live work. it's all good stuff.

I just picked this up a few days ago and I am in awe of Jeff Watts' drumming on it. I don't know what he had for breakfast during these sessions, but holy cow, he is ON FIRE! I'm a big fan of Jeff's drumming and have most of his solo records as well as most of the records he did with Branford and Wynton, but for some reason I never picked this one up. Big mistake!

I'm still digesting the compositions, but the playing is INSANELY good!

Dude Paul that Wyntom album sounds killing! Need to get that, thanks.

The Olivia vid is pretty funny. Good band!
