Kurtis - yeah man! Great memories! We sat front row at MI and he did that and we launched from our chairs screaming!!! Amazing drumming, great times.
What an adventure my early 20 's were.

In the Zildjian Q & A, Dennis mentions a video of ALL SIX of the Buddy Rich Memorial drummers jamming BEFORE the show! If that video can be found anywhere, it will HAVE to be found here, at the home of these rare drum treasures. I hope someone here will bring this out to the forefront. . .

That was a great interview. Glad he received the liver transplant. No wonder his stomach was distended. Looks like he's doing just fine.

I assume most of us VC fans have the audio boot from BUDDY RICH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP CONCERT in Connecticut
when Vinnie, Dennis and others played WIPE OUT (as a goof) to open the show. Vinnie played different tunes,
(killed them all as he always does) than the ones he played in CA.

Dennis looks so much better, I'm so relived. I've met him and hung with him a few times and he's such a great a funny guy. We went for cigars in LA at the NAMM show in 98.
