Yeah, it's great stuff ... had it on loop for about a week, still pulling ideas out of it.

Is there more ZD in that vein that you (or other folks) recommend?

Nothing quite like Zach with Wayne. Like DiCenso said in a recent interview in the latest issue of Drumhead on studying with Zach:
"He [Zach] was so musical and just effortlessly blazing these long "Weckl-type" phrases around the drums. I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. But dude, for me, even at that age, I recognized that he had something else. He had a little something that was just him."

Leni Stern's music can be a little... smooth, but I think that is why she hires guys like Zach, Dennis, and Rodney Holmes to add spice.

This tune is sort of pedestrian but Zach irons in a few wrinkles around 1:40 and 2:30:

Yeah I always loved Leni's album "Closer To The Light", some nice melodies, and great playing by everybody.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

Wow...that was so so annoying!! Sorry!!

Zach's playing on early and mid 90's was just amazing...stellar! Him and cliff almond were the best weckl clones back then but these last couple of years he just lost me with all this electronic nintendo pokemon shit. So sad!!! Can't take it
