Me and my band played the morning show!

Postby Henrik » Fri Aug 24, 2012 7:42 am

Me and the guys backed up former Swedish Idol contestant Andreas Weise on one of the Swedish morning shows last Sunday; we had a good time so I thought I'd share it with you guys!

Fun stuff to play with a talented (and large!) group of people, three different styles to nail with very little time to prepare and rehearse, but I thought we did a pretty good job.

A few seconds of commercials before the clip starts, sorry about that:

Let me know what you think, HOD feedback is always the best kind of feedback!

Congratulations! Videos are blocked where I am but I'll take a look over the weekend. Sounds like you had a great time.

Good job, love the vibe of the music. The lady co-singer looks like Cheryl Crow from afar ;)

Hi guys!

Thank you very much for taking the time to watch and for the kind comments! I hope everyone who tried to watch the clips were able to do that; I didn't think there were any country restrictions or anything like that on the TV4 streams. When we get a DVD copy of the clips I'll upload them to my youtube channel.

If you're anything like me you know that you always find a million things in your own playing that could have been better, every single time you perform. This was certainly no exception for me, but in general I think we managed to get the songs across in a nice way, as a band, and for me personally I felt that I got a few things together when the cameras were rolling that didn't sound as good as they should have during rehearsal, so I'm happy about that.

Janne, the drums are the Ludwig classic maple "Fab 4" kit, except for the snare which is my Tama Starclassic; I thought that snare sound suited a few of the songs a bit better.
