Richest drummers, I'm no on it... :-)

Postby Rodge » Fri Aug 31, 2012 2:03 am

So, we know that being in the right band is more important than being a good drummer, but there is some good one in that list still, some awful one in my taste too... :) :)

I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

Well, most of his money doesn't come from drumming, same as phil collins

Of course, the money comes from writing, royalties, sales...

Those are some insane figures! How Chad Smith has amassed more money than Nick Mason is beyond me....

I suppose it must be because the Chilli's split the composition royalties equally and the Floyd don't, but still.

I'm really not surprised by all that amont of money, not at all, can you imagine all the CD sold by the RHCP ? And yeah maybe not the composition royalties, but the CD sales, the contract with the Warner must indeed be splited equally between them, that's why they are still together.

I know that the 4 members of U2 sign all their song, I think it's great and healthy, see what's happened to Police...

Lars may be a mediocre drummer on his best day, but you can't deny the success or influence of Metallica (you know, the band he founded with James Hetfield... ;) )

That list seems to be BS.

I bet JR and some other session cats belong to that list too...
