Their rules state that an artist cannot change the timeframe. It does not say that Pledge Music will not change the timeframe.

Just watched the movie and this scene: http://www.hark.com/clips/hygnzgxjvc-barbossa-you-lying-bastard reminded me a bit of the quote above... ;)

Don't. Care.

I wasn't saying that as some kind of teaser, it's just that Steve appears to think that the fact I've not a grammy myself is relevant in terms of my views on fusion.

Talking of which...

Ok, here's my vote...

Besides having a somewhat festive title, I think this tune will fit perfectly in the 'This is Rock' section. As you can see from the video, it's just 4/4 'straight ahead bashing, you know...no dynamics'

I love Meshuggah, but I don't think Weckl was referring to ALL rock with that "4/4 straight-ahead bashing, no dynamics" comment.

I'd like to hear them do a a few covers too- maybe some funk and/or fusion classics? Dave would kill on some Tower of Power as well as some of the Lifetime material. What about some Mahavishnu? Or maybe some original music in the vein of those great 70's bands?

Actually, Dave would be SICK playing with Holdsworth...

Virgil kills it with that gig. I think Dave could take it to the next level.
