I'll be sure to check them out at NAMM. I can't say I dig the tom mounts though.

Kiko Freitas gets a beautiful sound on his......altho' this clip may not be Premier...damn he is a great player

Glad to see they made it out of bankruptcy, or administration, whatever the UK calls it over there.

We had a massive flood of Premier gear here in Australia in the 90's and some of the Signias and Genistas were amazing but the quality control was very hit and miss.

A friend of mine ordered a Signia that came with no tom mounts, unfinished bass drum and unsanded internal walls. But un saying that I had some hire kits on tour and they sounded incredcible.

I think the biggest downfall of Premier was their hardware, it just wouldn't last.

Probably true, but their hardware in the 70s and early 80s (Lokfast?) was ahead of its time. The design alone was unlike anything else - very art deco.

Anyone ever play a Resonator set or haul one around? This thing was not ahead of its time.

I heard that they sounded better once you removed the inner shell.

I hear rumblings that Premier may reintroduce their beautiful one-piece high tension lug in 2013! Oh man, if they do that, as well as those sweet low profile die cast hoops, I'm picking up a set pronto! My favorite drums of all time!
