SoCal lessons wanted

Postby nampo » Tue Dec 07, 2010 3:52 pm

Hello HoD! I'm in Riverside, CA. Anyone offering private lessons in the area or can point me in the right direction? I'm 24 and have been playing for a little over 6 months. If you need to know more about me for whatever reason, just ask. Your location, rates and some kind of background/resume would be much appreciated; PM or reply.

Thank you in advance.

Matt Starr: http://www.starrdrum.com/

Fantastic drummer, studied with Joe Morello, and was one of my teachers while at LAMA. He taught me a lot of things that really helped in my development over the years... beyond that he's a great guy and a good friend.

Steve, WTF?!

But yeah, Steve.

Obviously there are a lot of legends in the area, too, but if you've only been playing for 6 months you'll probably want (bi)weekly feedback which is pocketbook limited at > $100/hr.

I'm pretty sure all the greats living in SoCal are open to teaching. Weckl, Ralph Humphrey, Peter Erskine, Novak, Panos, Bissonette, Hass, Lang, Donati and probably many more. I believe their website's have the info.
