with Carlock, Krantz and Lefebvre. Just laying it down. No more, no less. Sounds nice. Enjoy:

That was a real treat. I don't think I'll ever get tired of that music.

Fantastic stuff. Love Fagen.

I also really enjoy how guys like Krantz, Carlock, and Lefebvre can pull off a gig like this, groove their asses of without a lot of notes, and still maintain their personality musically speaking. Amazing.

Honestly- I'm digging Keith on the Gretsch's. PHX's sounded great and all, but I think the 'throatier' sound he's got happening now works a lot better for what he does (especially on gigs like this when he has to tune down), though that may just be the magic of the Gretsch thing altogether...

Take another listen to Keith's bass drum. It is as tight as a gnat's ass.
It's ringing quite a bit.

Killing. Carlock sounded great, also was bit of a treat to hear Carlock and Tim L. playing pocket without playing a ton of notes. I've really only heard those 2 playing on Krantz's gig. Great feel!
