When I was ten years old I saw Buddy Rich come out of a bathroom. I am the Alpha and the Omega.

It´s pretty obvious that Vinnie is gonna make some serious cash with the move... It may not be in the form of a pay roll but -like the A Customs back in the day- he´s the face of the new 602s, it would be naive to believe that he´s not gonna receive no profit from sales. Having said that, I couldn´t care less. If he´s making money, good for him, I´m happy to be able to enjoy his music...

Dude, enough already. Just stop. You're spewing nonsense. Maybe you were lied to, or maybe you just like spreading lies. Paiste did NOT approach Vinnie. Ludwig did NOT approach Vinnie. There is no "salary". It's not about money.

Yamaha needs to come out with something about who is making their shells. This has been back and forth since January.

Sakae is still making their shells except for that new Oak line. Over time, more and more of the production will move to China until all Yamaha drums are manufactured there.

That raises the question of will kits made before the move be worth more?

e.g. Will a two year old PHX kit made in Japan be worth more than a new one from China?

Time will tell I guess.

I’m still bumming about the “Rock Tour” line coming out and making my “Rock Tour Customs” plummet in value, even though my RTCs are way better drums.

If that's true, I need to get a few add-ons for my Recording Custom set. But I doubt it's true. Ottawa is the town that "fun forgot".
