Postby smoggrocks » Tue Feb 19, 2013 10:16 am

the good, the bad, the ugly? did you film it? did you break a drumstick? did you feel life was affirmed and that you're really wasting your time with that silly little secure dayjob? :geek:

do tell! some of us hosers couldn't get our airfare duckies in a row :?

Thanks for asking. It was a pretty great night actually.
We had a great turnout, pretty much packed the place ( not too hard but nice to see ). great energy during the show, John and Jeff played their asses off. We decided to play a lonng 1st since most folks leave after so we played almost 90 mins the first set. Second set some folks hung out so we did a handful of tunes then as well.
A couple new tunes, Protocosmos, a new tune 12/8 tune from Jeff. The older stuff is still very challenging in some parts. I decided to solo over the form it Proto instead of looping the hits so that's fun and challenging.

Overall it's always a challenge to try and just relax and play, I felt good about the outcome. Most others seemed pleased as well.
I have some mp3s from out last rehearsal I'm thinking of sharing. Pretty good quality. We'll see.
