That's interesting, you recommend moving the whole leg, which I've seen quite a few folk doing, but ... isn't that wasting energy or is that just what you have to do ?
It's quite funny because when you watch a lot of guys talking about hand technique, for example a double stroke roll, they tend to suggest economy of movement and to let the fingers and rebound do the work, yet I get quite a few compliments for my doubles, but I am kind of wristy as well if you know what I mean. So at this point lifting the whole leg, although sounding wasteful might be the way.
