Hey all, Sorry it's a little delayed, but I've been waiting to get this up on the Vater site. Thanks Derek and Steve for the great ideas.
Peace, Sammy J

Once you learn Steve's examples you'll hear a million other ideas in your head. Thanks again to Steve for the lesson.

Thanks Sammy for the pdf with the variations!
Thanks to everyone for checking out the vid and posting feedback. I think the Camera focused on the hands was a big win for this one.

Instead of creating a new topic every time I thought I would make this the topic I can bump whenever a new video is made.

Here's the latest one filmed with my friend Brandon helping out on hand-held cam, improvising over a click. Feedback, good or bad is always welcome! Thanks all.

Cool! I can appreciate the spirit in which the vid was created...It's also apparent to me a lot of drummers don't use the rebound coming from their hats...judging by the "unflat" angle of their stick. :-)
I hope I can say that! :-)

Yeah it's not the hat the concerns me, it's the left hand's lack of rebounding on backbeat strokes that I need to address.
