I think maybe for a short bit changing from backbeat to swing during the bass solo I may have but only for a short time.

Latest improv vid from the Shed.
It's always challenging to try and create a theme, not play the same old stuff (ugh) but instead create new phrases based on them, as well as completely new ideas. I'm pretty happy with the drum sound I'm getting these days, although I don't think I'm terribly objective at this point. I don't know.

Haven't watched yet, but the poster frame for #2 is perfection.

EDIT: watched. Once again, should be mandatory viewing for all students of the instrument.
