Thank you, I remember his beater technique from his VHS ' Phrasing and Motion ' It did seem to rebound off the head and had a very open sound. Thanks again for the reminder.

7:00 am flight to Logan, A well earned vacation. Going to stop @ DiCenso's Drum Shop and get the shirt and some fresh sticks.
Any HOD'ers giging in Boston, gonna be doing some club crawling at night in between practice at the hotel.
