Hi guys, just getting back to posting here, it's been a while.

Sorry if this has been posted before. Very impressed with Johnathan Lundberg's playing, amazing drummer actually. Great version of this vinnie piece.

As good as it is, I think it also serves to remind us, or highlight just how extraordinary VC's virtuosity really is. When you then watch Vinnie playing it, you see the passion, the fire, and the incredible spontaneity of him being able to think of complex ideas and then immediately execute them on the fly, where mere mortals don't dare to tread.

Trying to do that song is cool on it's own, but yeah something in the passion, creativity and communication when soloing is missing for me. I see a smile here and there, drummer has great chops, better than mine by far, but I don't feel the passion and the fun.
