So, my old band got back together and

Postby Will Andrews » Tue Dec 03, 2013 11:09 am

set up a benefit show and made a recording! I used to post here as "Omnidrummer" and it's been forever and a day since I've contributed anything here, so I thought I'd share this little track. My old band OMNI reunited to help out mutual friend by setting up a show to raise some money for medical bills after he sustained some serious injuries after nasty accident he was in a few months ago. To promote the show, we recorded two tracks at Synergy Productions in Seattle, WA. I just happened to be wearing a GoPro camera at the time and this is my POV from the session.

Yamaha Beech Absolute 10, 12, 15, Birch Absolute 22x17
Lugwig Vistalite (70's) 18"
Tama Starphonic Bubinga snare
Paiste 24" 2002 ride, 20" Twenty raw bell (main ride), 20" Signature Power Crash, 24" Giant Beat, 14" Signature medium hats
Zil-Bel
Two Pearl quarter toms
all set up backwards

I know the angle is a bit high, but it still gets the job done :D I hope you guys like it!

Wow guys! Thanks! We were a band for about 9 years and we have tons of stuff to check out. Most of our old stuff is up at http://omniseattle.bandcamp.com. No vocals on this track, it's always been an instrumental. We will be putting the second track (w/vox) from this session up in a few days and it will also be downloadable from our bandcamp site. Oh, here's the official video from "Breakfast":

I appreciate you listening and I appreciate the feedback
